Summer Sale at Age Care Charity ShopThe Age Care Charity Shop is pleased to announce its summer sale which will start on Monday 24th August. The shop, which was opened by Steve Jones, the British Consul, in May this year, has proved a great success with people coming from all parts of the coast to visit and purchase some of the many interesting items to be found here. Beverley Morland, the Manageress and her team of volunteers, will be slashing prices so make sure you put this date in your diary and plan a visit to the shop to snap up a bargain. Also look out for the above average selection, these all have a white label which means that the clothes are a little bit special.
The team work very hard to maintain a high standard and there is a new attractive window display every week. The volunteers are looking forward to welcoming you and also your donations. Clothes for the new season are welcome, but please consider the condition of the clothes you are donating, good quality clean clothes are required, and a good rule of thumb is to donate only what you would be prepared to buy. A variety of special events are held on a regular basis i.e. bedding sale, notices of these are placed on the shop window or you can ring the shop on 675874308 for further information.
The Shop can be found in the Centro Comercial Las Jarales, Calahonda (just past Mercadona), and is open Monday to Friday from 10 4 and Saturday from 10 - 2. Funds raised in the shop are used to further the work of Age Care Association on the Costa del Sol. If you are interested in helping Age Care Association please contact the helpline number.
One way of helping is to come along to a great evening at the Change a Life Ball which is being held at the Hotel Tamisa Golf, Mijas Golf on Saturday 5th September. All monies raised are for the charity Age Care Association, to reserve your ticket please contact Costa Life Magazine on 952 492250.
